INFUSED JALAPENO TEQUILA

Infused Jalapeño Tequila

Ingredients

  • Tequila, preferred brand 1800 or use your favorite

  • 1 Large Jalapeño, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Place thinly sliced jalapeños (leave seeds in tact) in the bottom of a 16-ounce mason jar, fill the jar with tequila to the top and cover with a lid.

  2. Let sit overnight for about 12 hours in a cool, dark place.

  3. The longer it sits the spicier it will get. If you need it immediately, I would recommend shaking the mason jar for about 20 seconds.

  4. Make your favorite cocktail, but I would try to plan ahead and let it sit overnight.

  5. Strain the Jalapeños out and store the infused tequila in an airtight container.

  6. It will last in the airtight container for up to 6 months.
