S’Mores Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter melted

  • ⅔ cup cocoa  

  • 1 ¾ cups sugar

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 c Chocolate Morsels

  • 1 ½ c Mini Marshmallows

  • 6 whole Graham Crackers roughly broken into pieces 

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350F

  1. Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl.

  2. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar and vanilla

  3. Add eggs one at a time and mix until combined.

  4. Add flour mixture and mix well.

  5. Add batter into a 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper. Make sure the parchment goes up the sides, this will make it easier to pull the brownie out of the pan and cut them.  To make this a little easier before you add the parchment, spray the bottom of the dish and sides with cooking spray then add the parchment and it will adhere to the dish.

  6. Bake on the middle rack for 20 minutes, then remove the brownies from the oven (do not turn the oven off).

  7. Sprinkle over the top with the graham crackers then add the chocolate morsels and top with the mini marshmallows.  Make sure you sprinkle evenly so you get a bite of all this yumminess in each brownie when cut.  Add the pan back into the oven for another 7-10 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. 

  8. If the marshmallows need a little more golden brown, broil on the middle rack for 1 - 1 ½ minutes max until the marshmallows are nice and golden brown.  (VERY IMPORTANT) Watch very very closely and do not go anywhere!!

  9. Cool completely then cut into squares.
