PARMESAN CHICKEN WINGS
I prefer to buy the party wings (the wingette which is the flat part and the drumette are already separated for you).
Parmesan Chicken Wings
Serves 4
Ingredients
3 lbs party chicken wings
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 ½ tsp coarse kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
4 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
Zest of a lemon
1 lemon, juiced
1 tsp oregano
3 tbsp shredded parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Mix the wings in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Add to a rimmed sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray (line with aluminum foil to reduce clean up).
Bake for 50-55 minutes, turning wings half way through.
In a saucepan, melt butter, turn off heat and add minced garlic, oregano, lemon zest, lemon juice and 1 tablespoons parsley.
Add cooked wings to a large bowl and toss with the butter mixture. Mix in 2 tablespoons of shredded parmesan cheese.
Plate the wings and garnish with 1 tablespoon parsley and 1 tablespoon shredded parmesan.
