Pico de Gallo

Ingredients

  • 1 pound tomatoes, diced

  • ¼ cup chopped onion (red or white)

  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped

  • 3 jalapenos seeded and finely chopped

  • 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice

  • ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt

Directions

  1. Mix tomatoes, onion, cilantro, jalapenos, lime juice and sea salt in a bowl.  

  2. Let sit for at least an hour at room temperature.  

  3. Taste and add more salt if needed.

Makes 2 cups

Note: If you like your salsa with a little kick, leave a few jalapenos with the seeds when you dice them.
