Directions
There are many options to set up a Hot Chocolate Bar. A little spot on your kitchen counter or on a table, it will be perfect no matter how you set it up.
Set up the mugs, spoons and hot cocoa fixings so your guests can create their own delicious and yummy drinks.
You will also need to have the hot chocolate ready to go; if you have a crowd it might be a good idea to keep the hot chocolate in a slow cooker on low/warm to keep it hot.
*Hot Chocolate
Ingredients for Hot Chocolate Mix
12 servings
1 ¾ c Sugar
1 ¼ c Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Tsp Salt
In addition, per serving:
10 Ounces Whole Milk*
¼ Tsp Vanilla extract
Directions
Add the sugar, cocoa powder and salt to a 12-16 ounce mason jar and mix well.
Add 10 ounces of whole milk and ¼ tsp vanilla extract to a saucepan and heat the milk. You want to heat the milk mixture just until it's hot, but not boiling. You'll see steam start to come off the top and tiny bubbles forming on the side, then you know it is ready.
Add 4 Tbsp of the chocolate mix to a mug and add in the milk mixture stirring until all of the mix is combined.
*You could use coconut milk, almond milk, whatever your preference is.
