CHIVE BISCUITS
Chive Biscuits
Makes about 12
Ingredients
2 c Flour
2 Tsp Baking Powder
½ Tsp Baking Soda
½ Tsp Sugar
¼ Tsp Salt
1 cup Buttermilk
8 ounces of Salted Butter (1 stick), melted, plus 1 Tbsp
1 Tbsp Chives, chopped
Directions
Preheat the oven 475°F.
Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar and salt in a medium bowl.
Combine the buttermilk and 8 ounces of melted butter to a small bowl and mix in the chives.
Add the buttermilk mixture to the flour mixture until all is combined.
Use ¼ cup to measure out biscuits.
Brush each of the tops with 1 tbsp butter.
Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown.
