CHIVE BISCUITS

Chive Biscuits

Makes about 12

Ingredients

  • 2 c Flour

  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder

  • ½ Tsp Baking Soda

  • ½ Tsp Sugar

  • ¼ Tsp Salt

  • 1 cup Buttermilk 

  • 8 ounces of Salted Butter (1 stick), melted, plus 1 Tbsp

  • 1 Tbsp Chives, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven 475°F.

  2. Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.  

  3. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar and salt in a medium bowl.

  4. Combine the buttermilk and 8 ounces of melted butter to a small bowl and mix in the chives.

  5. Add the buttermilk mixture to the flour mixture until all is combined.

  6. Use ¼ cup to measure out biscuits.

  7. Brush each of the tops with 1 tbsp butter.

  8. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown.
