Pita Chips
Ingredients
2 packages of Syrian bread
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ c Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbsp oregano
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 ½ Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Cumin
½ Tsp Black Pepper
Directions
Preheat the oven 325°F
Whisk olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper together. Set aside.
Stack the Pita Bread 4 high, cut in half, cut again in half and cut remaining wedges into 4 pieces. Repeat again until all the bread is in wedge pieces. Then separate the pockets.
Using a brush, paint pita bread liberally with marinade on both sides.
Place pita wedges on a rimmed sheet pan, single layer and bake for 15 minutes or until crispy.
