APPLESAUCE
Applesauce
Makes about 2 cups
Ingredients
2 lbs Apples (about 7), peeled, cored and sliced
⅓ c Water
Juice of ½ Lemon
¼ c Brown Sugar
¼ tsp Cinnamon
Directions
Add the apples, water and lemon juice to a medium sized saucepan and bring to a boil, turn down to a simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Puree in a food processor or immersion blender. If you prefer a chunky style applesauce use a potato masher.
Serve warm or chilled with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
