Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Chicken

  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Coarse Kosher Salt

  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

  • 2 Scallions, diced

  • ½ Onion, finely chopped (about 1 cup)

  • 5 oz of Green Beans, cut into ½ inch pieces 

  • ¼ c Hoisin Sauce

  •  2 tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 1 tsp Siracha 

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

  • 1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar

  • Iceberg Lettuce or Butter Lettuce Leaves

  •  Rice (preferred Jasmine)

Directions

  1. Add olive oil to a skillet and sauté onion & garlic until translucent for about 8 minutes. 

  2. Add chicken, salt & pepper and cook until browned.

  3. Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce, siracha, rice wine vinegar and simmer for 5-10 minutes. 

  4. Add green beans, cook until warm.

  5. Turn off heat, add scallions.

  6. Serve with lettuce leaves & rice & siracha.
