Flank Steak Carne Asada

Ingredients

  • 2 Limes, juiced

  • 1 tsp Lime Zest

  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed

  • ½ c Fresh Orange Juice

  • 1 c Cilantro, chopped

  • ½ tsp Salt

  • ½ tsp Pepper

  • ½ tsp Dried Oregano

  • ½ tsp Onion Powder

  • ½ c Olive Oil

  • 1 Jalapeno, diced

  • 2 tbsp White Vinegar

  • 2 lbs Flank Steak

Directions

  1. Add all the ingredients except the flank steak into a gallon ziptop bag and mix until all ingredients are incorporated.

  2. Add the flank steak to the bag.

  3. Marinate for at least 3-4 hours, overnight would be better.

  4. Grill on medium high heat for 8 minutes each side and rest 10 minutes.  

  5. Slice against the grain and garnish with fresh cilantro.
