This is a great appetizer with tortilla chips or fresh veggies. Also a yummy topping to a burrito or taco.

Avocado Crema

Ingredients

  • ½ c sour cream

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • Zest of one lime 

  • 1 ½ Tsp fresh lime juice

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ⅛ tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Add the sour cream, avocado, juice and zest of lime, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper to the food processor.  

  2. Serve with vegetables (for a low carb option), tortilla chips or as a topping to  your burritos or tacos.

Can be made 3 days ahead.
