6 Layered Taco Dip
Ingredients

  • 16 oz can refried beans

  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 c sour cream

  • 1 ½ c shredded cheese of your choice

  • 15-16 oz jar of your favorite salsa

  • 1 ½ c shredded lettuce

  • ¼ c jalapenos, sliced

  • ¼ c scallions, diced

  • ¼ c black olives, sliced

  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Directions

  1. In a large bowl mix the cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning well.

  2. In an 8x8 or 9x13 platter, spread the refried beans

  3. Top with the cream cheese mixture.

  4. Top with the salsa.

  5. Top with the shredded cheese.

At this point you can refrigerate and add the rest just before serving. 

  1. Add shredded lettuce.

  2. Top with the jalapenos, scallions, black olives and cilantro.

  3. Serve with tortilla chips.

You could also top with a few dollups of guacamole.
