CANDIED PECANS
Candied Pecans
Ingredients
½ c water
½ c sugar
½ c maple syrup
2 c pecans
Directions
Bring water, sugar and syrup to a boil; let sauce thicken for about 5 minutes; turn off heat.
Add pecans and let sit for 5 minutes.
Remove pecans from the pan with a slotted spoon and place on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil that has been sprayed with cooking spray (this helps avoid pecans from sticking).
Roast at 350 on for 5 minutes, mix pecans and roast for another 5 minutes. Watch closely, they burn easily.
