CANDIED PECANS

Candied Pecans

Ingredients

  • ½ c water

  • ½ c sugar

  • ½ c maple syrup

  • 2 c pecans

Directions

  1. Bring water, sugar and syrup to a boil; let sauce thicken for about 5 minutes; turn off heat.

  2. Add pecans and let sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Remove pecans from the pan with a slotted spoon and place on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil that has been sprayed with cooking spray (this helps avoid pecans from sticking).

  4. Roast at 350 on for 5 minutes, mix pecans and roast for another 5 minutes. Watch closely, they burn easily.
