PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIE SUNDAE
Peanut Butter Brownie Sundae
Ingredients
1 c Butter, melted
⅔ c Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 ¾ c Sugar
¼ c Brown Sugar
½ Tsp Baking Powder
3 ½ Tsp Vanilla Extract
½ Tsp Salt
4 Eggs
1 c Flour
¾ c Creamy Peanut Butter
½ c Honey
1 Quart Vanilla Ice Cream
Can of Whipped Cream
Jar of Chocolate Sauce or Hot Fudge
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar and 2 Tsp vanilla extract
Add eggs and mix well
Add flour mixture and stir until mixed well.
Add batter into a 9x13 greased pan.
Mix the peanut butter, honey and 1 ½ Tsp vanilla extract in a small bowl. Once mixed well add dollups of the peanut butter mixture all over the top of the batter. Using a butter knife (make sure it touches the bottom of the pan) swirl the peanut butter back and forth to make a marble effect. Be careful not to over mix.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean with alittle crumbs but not with batter.
Cool completely, cut into squares.
To assemble the sundae, add 3-4 scoops of vanilla ice cream to a bowl and drizzle hot fudge/chocolate sauce over the ice cream. Add the brownie, top with whipped cream then drizzle more hot fudge/chocolate sauce over the top.
Note: The brownies freeze well, great do ahead and just take out of the freezer the morning of your party to defrost.
