BRUSCHETTA & BURRATA APPETIZER

Bruschetta & Burrata Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 3 c Cherry Tomatoes, halved

  • ¼ c Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • ⅛ c Balsamic Vinegar

  • ¼ c Fresh Basil, chopped

  • ¼ Tsp Dijon Mustard

  • 1 Garlic Clove, minced

  • 1 Tsp Salt

  • ½ Tsp Pepper

  • 2 - 4 ounce Burrata Balls  

  • Balsamic Glaze drizzled

  • 2-3 Basil Sprigs*

Directions

  1. Place the halved cherry tomatoes in a bowl.  Mix the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil, dijon, garlic, salt and pepper together in a small bowl, once combined pour over tomatoes.   

  2. Let the bruschetta sit on the counter at room temperature until ready to serve.  The longer it sits the better it is.

  3. Arrange the burrata balls on a platter and place the tomato mixture all around the burrata balls.  Add alittle of the juice over the tomatos.

  4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with a few basil sprigs.

  5. Serve with crostini, fresh bread or crackers.

*A sprig of basil is the top three to four leaves of the plant
