Blueberry Lemon Drops

Ingredients

  • 3 c Blueberry Vodka*

  • 1 c fresh Lemon Juice, typically about 4 lemons 

  • ½ c Simple Syrup*

  • 1 ⅓ c Triple Sec

  • Blueberries and/or lemon wheel as garnish

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a pitcher and leave  in the freezer for at least 6-9 hours and the mix will be icy. 

  2. Rub a cut lemon over the rim of the martini glass and dip in sugar. 

  3. Garnish with 3 blueberries and/or lemon wheel.

Note: you can leave this in the freezer for months as well. You will always have a frosty lemon drop anytime you wish!

*Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. Place the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. The sugar may dissolve before it comes to a boil.

  2. Once the sugar has dissolved, turn off the heat and set aside to cool.  

  3. Do not use the simple syrup until it has cooled completely.  Will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week or you can freeze the leftover in ice cube trays and defrost as needed.
