Vanilla Pudding
A super easy make ahead dessert!
Vanilla Pudding
Serves 4-6
Ingredients
3 c Whole Milk
1 c Sugar
β c Cornstarch
3 Egg Yolks, beaten
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
2 Tbsp Butter
ΒΌ Tsp Salt
Directions
In a medium saucepan combine the sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add the milk and beaten eggs and whisk until combined.
Over medium heat bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Once it comes to a boil, keep stirring for about a minute until thickened.
Take off heat, add in the butter and vanilla, stir until combined.
Serve the pudding in individual bowls, press plastic wrap to the surface of the pudding. Refrigerate and chill until set.
You can fancy this dessert up by serving them in a stemless martini glass and adding some fun garnishes like raspberries, strawberries or sprinkles to the whipped cream.
