RAM (VODKA LEMONADE)

A light and refreshing summer cocktail.  Where does the name Ram come from? It’s a local thing! The classic Ram was very popular back in the day at The Dracut Civic Club.

Ram (Vodka Lemonade)

Ingredients

• 2 ounces Vodka

• 6 ounces Lemonade (homemade recipe noted below)

• Ice

• Lemon Wheel and sprig of Mint for Garnish

Directions

1. Fill a 12 ounce glass ¾ full with ice.  Add the vodka and lemonade and give it a stir.

2. Garnish with a lemon wheel and sprig of mint.

Homemade Lemonade

Makes a small pitcher 

Ingredients

• 1 c Fresh Lemon Juice about 4-6 lemons   

• 1 c Sugar

• 3 ½ c Water

• Garnish with Lemon slices and/or Mint leaves

Directions

1. Add the 1 ½ c water and 1 c sugar to a saucepan over medium high heat.

2. Once the sugar has dissolved, turn off the heat. Set aside.

3. Squeeze the lemons and add to a small pitcher.

4. Add the remaining 2 c water and 1 ½ c cooled simple syrup.

5. Refrigerate for several hours.
